The American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers is a trade association of power-operated automatic door manufacturers established in 1994 to raise public awareness about automatic doors and administer a program to certify automatic door inspectors.
The Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA)
Accreditation by IDEA is intended to assist the general public in the selection of a qualified, professional door systems dealer when purchasing, servicing, or installing an overhead door, automatic gate operator, fire door and other industry products. Companies earning the Accreditation seal have demonstrated a commitment to industry excellence by completing a demanding study course, documenting good business practices and receiving recommendations from others with whom they do business.
International Door Association (IDA)
The International Door Association primary mission is to provide programs and services to door and access system dealers, for the express purpose of enhancing their value and professionalism. IDA plays an important role in the process of quality creation and control by providing helpful programs and services to those who sell, install, and service the superb products produced by the door industry's exhaustive list of manufacturers.
Western Access Systems Association (WASA)
The Western Access Systems Association is a nonprofit association originally incorporated in 1983 as the California Operator & Door Association (CODA). WASA's mission is to promote the integrity and professionalism of the garage door and gate industry through consumer awareness and the use of licensed contractors.
American Fence Association (AFA)
AFA is the largest professional association representing the fence, deck, and railing industry, with members in every state in the U.S. and in Canada.
